Macau gaming legal matters has always been a key practice area of our firm.

The firm has acted as Macau legal counsel for one of the three Macau casino gaming concessionaires during almost a decade, providing legal assistance and advice in and since its incorporation, in the first public tender for the award of three concessions for the operation of games of chance in casino in Macau, in the negotiation of the casino gaming concession and land concession contracts with the Government, in the negotiation of the first casino gaming sub-concession contract authorized by the Macau Government, in the Government-concessionaires discussions on the gaming related legislation requiring revision or implementation, in the company’s operation and corporate matters as casino gaming concessionaire and in all other Macau legal and Court matters.

Subsequently, SCPT has been assisting and advising another Macau casino gaming sub-concessionaire on all Macau law aspects regarding major financings and collateral subject to regulatory approval.
